My life's journey has been unexpected. Early on, I had no clear career goals, and I faced many challenges, including homelessness and addiction. I lost loved ones and I lost everything I ever owned. Finding sobriety in 2010 marked a turning point. I soon adopted my first dog, and my path became clear: dedicating my career to helping animals. In 2024, Beyond the Bark was formed, a foundation that gives second chances to both dogs, and humans like me. Now, as a sober adult with two rescue dogs and plans for a third, I have no doubt as to where my journey will likely take me.
